Gary Grzesk has a proven track record of success at St. Norbert College with a winning percentage over .751 over 18 years and counting! Grzesk's teams have been built on a tremendous defense complemented by a diversified offensive attack.

This excellent video will give you insight into how he has created his successful, diversified offensive system. By giving his players simplified reads that accent the modern day game, Coach Grzesk has ignited a potent offense that is bound to help any program.

Build-Up Drills
Coach Grzesk begins the video by giving you a series of build-up drills that teach his offense. The first of these drills emphasizes the "6"; cut in his offense. The "6" cut encourages the players to pass and cut to the basket. After cutting to the basket, the player is taught to open to the basket. This allows his offense to put immediate pressure on the rim from a variety of players.

The next teaching point is his "7" action. This action emphasizes screening away from the ball after the pass. In the 7 cut, he teaches how his players make different reads on this screen based on how the defense plays the screen.

The third teaching point is the "8" action. This action allows you to incorporate ball screen concepts into your motion offense. This allows you to keep the defense off balance by having to guard both off ball and on ball screen actions.

The final teaching point is the "9" action. Coach Grzesk utilizes this cut to get his best player another touch on the ball within the offense. This is also utilized when you have a post player that you would like to get a touch in the paint.

Putting it Together
After teaching all of his options through the build-up drills, Coach Grzesk utilizes 3v0 and 5v0 demonstrations to show how all the cuts can quickly be incorporated into your offensive design.

The freedom of options is going to put immense pressure on the defense, and the simplicity of reads is going to allow your offensive players to attack any type of defense that they see!
